Daniel Lopez has been barbering for more than two decades. As the founder of Five Star Barber Shop, he has taken his interests and inspirations into the constant evolution of the brand. These changes have coincided with his formal step into structured teaching, as an educator.
Having completed advanced training with Alexi Micheal, Alessandro Barca and Charlie Grey – Daniel specializes in precision-based haircutting that is inclusive of all textures, lengths and ethnicities for men and women alike.
By bridging the gap between modern barbering and contemporary hairdressing, he creates a unique blend of both worlds. Daniel offers an experience that draws upon expertise and innovation. He’s not just a barber; he’s an educator, a mentor, a visionary, and a pioneer in his field.

His journey began at the age of 15, driven by passion for hairstyling that led him to absorb knowledge from videos and mentorship under local barbers. Even at a young age, Shane’s determination saw him transform his parents’ garage into a hub for friends and family.
Throughout his career, Shane has remained committed to both innovation and tradition, continuously refining his craft by staying relevant with the latest techniques while honing classic trends.
